Does the app work offline?

Yes. After an initial online load, Fluvaro caches data on your device. You can view the latest available data even without an Internet connection.

How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Open the account panel (icon in the top right of the app), then tap "Manage subscription." You'll be redirected to the Stripe portal where you can cancel. Your Pro access will remain active until the end of the current billing period — no prorated refund is issued for time already paid.

During a free trial: the trial continues until its scheduled end date and no card is charged.

Where does the data come from?

Flow, water level, forecasts, and multi-year climatology come from two public Canadian sources: the Centre d'expertise hydrique du Québec (CEHQ) for Quebec stations, and Environment and Climate Change Canada (MSC) for federal stations elsewhere in Canada. The complementary station inventory comes from Données Québec, and vigilance thresholds from the Ministère de la Sécurité publique. Daily access data comes from the ticketing system used by fishing organizations. Information about water bodies and their managers is compiled manually by Fluvaro. Tide predictions and wildlife activity periods are calculated locally using harmonic and astronomical algorithms.

How do I delete my account?

Send an email to [email protected] with your deletion request. We will delete your account and all associated personal data within a reasonable timeframe.

What devices are supported?

Fluvaro works on any modern browser: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. The app can be installed on your phone or tablet's home screen for a native-like experience.

How does the free trial work?

The Pro trial lasts 14 days and requires a valid credit card (verified by Stripe, not charged during the trial). You can cancel at any time during the trial — no amount will be charged. One trial per user, for life. See the Terms of Use §4 for all details.

Can the price change?

Prices may be modified for future renewals only. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance (by email, in-app notice, or update to the Terms). The price already paid for the current period is never modified retroactively.

Where is my data stored?

Your account and subscription data are processed by technical providers who may store them outside Quebec, notably in the United States. See our Privacy Policy §5 for details and your right to object.
